The visit to the largest and most beautiful Royal Palace in the world represents
a very intense emotional and cultural experience and therefore must be faced with the right preparation.

TIPS & TRICKS

Cause covid YOU MUST buy the ONLINE TICKET in advance with a small surcharge. You enter EXCLUSIVELY in the reserved time slot. The official company is TICKETONE. To proceed, click on the BUY TICKETS button.

It is absolutely necessary to choose comfortable clothing and comfortable shoes.
The spaces to visit are really huge, only the park has a length of almost 4 kilometers and an extension of 12,000,000 square meters!

Before starting the visit it is best to do "plin plin" in the toilets at the entrance. Although along the way there are others, but given the vastness of the structure, it is better to prevent :-)

For people with disabilities, ask for assistance from the staff at the entrance.

Leave bags, luggage, umbrellas and bulky objects in the luggage storage, as they are prohibited while visiting the rooms.

To better appreciate the history and the artistic and cultural contents of the Palace, it is advisable to rent the audio guides. They are available in Italian, English, French, German and Spanish at a cost of € 5 per person. Or you can take advantage of guided tours (one hour and thirty minutes): starting from € 120.00 including the rental of the mandatory radio guides / silencers.

For bike lovers it is useful to know that it is possible to rent a bike to visit the Park.
Normal bike hourly cost € 4.
Bicycle cost per hour with pedal assistance € 6.
Tandem hourly cost € 7
It is possible to use approved child seats up to 15 kg

It is advisable to start the visit first from the Park and then continue with the Royal Rooms. Even the visit to the park must be well rationalized, given its size. It is better to use the internal SHUTTLE immediately and reach the top at the ENGLISH GARDEN. Starting right here to enjoy this delightful place and then continue exploring the park. If you are tired during the journey, you can take the SHUTTLE again and reach THE PALACE. (cost of the shuttle € 2.50 round trip).

Do not organize the visit on TUESDAY, simply because the Palace is closed.

If you arrive by train you are lucky, the Royal Palace is right in front of the station.
If you arrive by car you are lucky, there are two large parking lots adjacent to the Royal Palace.

A wonderful visit to the royal palace built by Charles of Bourbon. Already at the sight of the grand staircase you can perceive the majesty of the building and then admire the different furnished rooms. It is impossible to visit the immense park with its waterfalls in one day. Some rooms have been used for works of contemporary art that fit well into the nineteenth-century context.
